Wolmans takes its obligations to guard your privacy and the personal data of the Users seriously. The purpose of this Privacy Policy is to inform you about the information that is collected about you, how we may use such information, and how the information can be corrected or changed.

1. INFORMATION COLLECTED AND USE OF INFORMATION

The personal data provided to Wolmans are being processed in a database that is managed by behalf by Wolmans. We will use your data to perform the requested transactions and for our own marketing purposes.

“Personal Data” means your name, title, addresses, telephone number, e-mail address and similar information.
This information will be collected when you subscribe to our newsletter or fill out certain fields, when you participate in a contest or when you place an online order. You also will have an opportunity to change these selections by clicking on an “unsubscribe” hyperlink contained in promotional emails we send you.

For the purpose of operating our business, third parties processors (e.g. credit card companies, shipping companies, customer service provides,
couriers) may process your data, however, only to the extent, this is necessary to conduct our e-commerce business. We do not sell, trade, share or transfer your personal data to any outside parties other than Wolmans entities and third-party processors without asking your explicit consent.

2. CORRECTION OR DELETION OF YOUR INFORMATION

It is always possible to request details of your Personal Data by contacting us at info@wolmans.co.za. These Personal Data can be modified or deleted through the same channel in case of legal grounds hereto. Moreover, you can always ask not to be contacted anymore for direct marketing purposes through the e-mail address mentioned before.

3. SECURITY OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION.

Wolmans uses all reasonable efforts to protect your Personal Data. A payment with a credit card is being managed online through the facilities offered by a leading online Payment Service Provider, Paygate. Paygate, a PCI DSS compliant payment gateway. Standard “Secure Sockets Layer” (SSL) internet encryption technology provided by Network Solutions is being used to transfer other personal information to our database.

The servers will be housed in South Africa by a Hetzner, an internet hosting provider. These servers contain personal information, but will never contain any information with respect to payment or bank records. The servers are secured by multi-level firewalls and a standard security protocol.

4. COOKIES AND OTHER TECHNOLOGIES

The Site uses “cookies”. A cookie is a small amount of data that is sent to your browser from a web server and stored on your computer’s hard drive. Generally, we use cookies to allow us to track your visits to our Site and to facilitate the shopping process. Whenever required, we will ask for your consent. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie so that you can decide whether to accept it or not. You can also choose to disable cookies altogether. 5. CHILDREN

Minors (under the age of 18) are not allowed to submit any Personal Data to us or to place orders and can thus only use the services of this Site in the presence of a parent or guardian and only with their permission. Wolmans will accept no liability for the use of this Site by children and minors and reserves all rights to refuse orders placed by children or minors.

6. LINKS TO OTHER SITES

The Site may provide links to other websites. Please be aware that once you leave the Site and enter another website, you may be subject to different privacy practices and policies over which Wolmans has no control and for which we are not responsible.
